DREAMS OF A STAR is a story I dreamed up one day while on vacation after I saw the headlines about the balloon that flew all the way across the country. When I write, I start with a blank canvas and add layers to the plot one by one in much the same way as an artist lays down colors of oil paint on her easel.

Two Heroes on distant galaxies hold the answers in one epic adventure. In the galaxy SegDEG, the brightest star at its very center is slowly dying. Desperately searching for a new place to call home, the inhabitants of the planet XONEX study planets that they've watched for millennia. Christen, still suffering from losing the love of her life, is destined for greatness, but at seventeen years old, this high school student knows nothing about what the future holds for Earth.
